Same day delivery cut-off time in WooCommerce

When you allow same day delivery you may need to have order placing cut-off time for same day delivery. In other way to have an order delivered on same day, one need to place the order before certain time of that day. Here we will see how to set up Same day delivery cut-off time in WooCommerce based store.

Once you installed and activated WooODT Extended plugin on your WooCommerce store, navigate to first setting menu ODT Management then look for settings filed labeled as “Same Day Delivery Order Placing Cut-off Time:”. Put your desired time, lets say we put it as 17:00 hrs that is 5:00 PM.

Now when someone place an order before 5:00 PM, they can select today’s date as delivery date. If the order placing time is after 5:00 PM then today’s date will be disabled on date-picker calendar and can’t be selected as delivery date.

NB: Remember the pre-order restriction days settings? you need to keep it as blank or “0” in order to allow same day delivery/pickup. Checkout the pre-order days setting here.

Install and activate WooODT Extended in your WooCommerce store website

Download the plugin from your my account area and install it, activate it on your WooCommerce store.

Open the first ODT Management Menu

Click on the first menu labeled as ODT Management and click on it. It will open a settings page.

Put desired time in settings field labeled as Same Day Delivery Order Placing Cut-off Time:

Look for the settings field labeled as Same Day Delivery Order Placing Cut-off Time:. put your desired time, till when if an order is placed you will be able to deliver it on same day. Save the setting and its done! Remember you need to set pre-order days restrictions setting as 0 or leave it blank, this setting filed is on the same page.
